Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Whior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anacleto Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whior comes to the cage accompanied by Haka. Diaz has chosen Anasasis (Xenophontis) - Parkway Drive as his entrance music. The key to victory for Junior Whior has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Whior!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anacleto Diaz!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whior shoots for a takedown but Diaz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Whior shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diaz as he avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Whior looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Whior misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Whior. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Whior tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whior thows a left - swing and a miss!
Whior is looking to clinch but Diaz is avoiding it.

and Whior counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Diaz's guard now.

Diaz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Whior postures up.
Whior with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Whior wants to stand but Diaz has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Whior got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Whior has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted.
Whior thows a big elbow that misses.
Whior wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving.

Diaz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Whior is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Diaz.
Diaz manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Diaz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Whior works his way to full guard. Good work.
Diaz looking to sit in guard and control but Whior gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Diaz has his foot on Whior's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Whior works his way back into a safe position though.
Whior wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving.

Whior gets to his feet - Diaz follows without any prompting.
Whior tries to clinch up.

Whior lands a left and a right that send Diaz crashing to the mat, dazed. Whior thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Diaz is rocked!

It looks like Anacleto Diaz has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Whior closes the distance looking for a takedown. Whior picks Diaz up and slams him brutally to the floor. Diaz is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
