Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Leigh Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kent is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stand Up (Akala). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Leigh Kent!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bisping tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bisping stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bisping wants it to stay on the feet.
Bisping throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kent.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kent shoots in and bounces Bisping off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Kent drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bisping dives on top into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bisping doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bisping manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kent has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bisping is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kent.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michael Bisping will probably get the nod.
