The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramoata fails with a takedown attempt.
Ramoata shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Coimbra pinned against the cage. Coimbra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Coimbra lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Hintu Ramoata has been cut.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hintu Ramoata. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Coimbra misses with a two punch combination.
Ramoata changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coimbra tries to avoid it but Ramoata manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coimbra to the ground. Coimbra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ramoata shoots in looking for a takedown. Coimbra tries to sprawl out of it but Ramoata keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coimbra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Coimbra tries to hold on but Ramoata postures up.
Coimbra is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Ramoata has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Coimbra's face.
Ramoata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Coimbra is bucking up trying to escape but Ramoata cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coimbra can do anything to dispel that myth.
