Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nobunaga Shirow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeca Pagodinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zeca Pagodinho will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pagodinho blocks a jab.

Shirow moves into the clinch.
Shirow blocks a body shot from Pagodinho.
Pagodinho tries to pull guard but Shirow holds him up against the cage and eventually Pagodinho drops back down to his feet.
Pagodinho drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shirow gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pagodinho is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shirow is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pagodinho to the mat. Pagodinho regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Shirow has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pagodinho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pagodinho is desperately trying to improve his position but Shirow has a good base and remains in mount.

Shirow is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pagodinho is surviving well by controlling Shirow's body position as best he can.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Shirow is looking to work his way around to Pagodinho's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Shirow is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pagodinho is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pagodinho flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Shirow anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pagodinho and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Shirow slips an arm under Pagodinho chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Shirow has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Shirow is squeezing on Pagodinho like an anaconda would it's prey. Pagodinho fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
