The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Otway looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Otway lands with a nice combination. Abu backs away looking to recover.

Abu stalks Otway and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Otway's face. Otway staggers backwards, shaken.

Abu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Otway throws a nice looking combination but Abu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Otway cracks Abu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Abu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Abu keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Otway fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Abu checks it well.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Abu.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Abu - that will leave a mark!
Otway moves out of range as Abu throws a body kick.
Otway misses with a series of wild punches.
Otway stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Abu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Otway sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Otway on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Abu. Abu obviously looking to wear him down.
Otway misses with a double jab
and Abu counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nice straight punches there by Abu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Abu.

Otway throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Abu.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Abu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Otway ducks under a wild hook from Abu.
Abu thows a body shot but no joy.
Otway misses with a double jab
and Abu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Otway bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Abu thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Otway if he has to take too many more of those.

and Abu counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Otway takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fighters circle, before Abu throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Otway's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Abu lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
