Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rice Pilaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Ahma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pilaf comes to the cage accompanied by chinese rap. Ahma has chosen The Trooper as his entrance music. Jussi Ahma has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rice Pilaf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jussi Ahma!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pilaf sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pilaf misses with an uppercut.
Pilaf throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ahma swats away the attempt to clinch by Pilaf.
Pilaf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pilaf sizes up Ahma with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pilaf throws a hook but Ahma avoids it easily.
Pilaf takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pilaf ducks under a wild hook from Ahma.

Ahma throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Pilaf misses with an uppercut. Ahma saw that one coming.
Pilaf throws a half hearted mid kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Ahma misses the target.
Pilaf looks to land a combination but Ahma avoids it well.
Ahma's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ahma duly obliges.
Ahma fails with the takedown.
Rice Pilaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jussi Ahma.
Ahma fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pilaf lands a slapping body shot.

Ahma throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ahma throws a body kick that misses.
Ahma looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ahma is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pilaf.
Pilaf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ahma.
Nice defenses there by Ahma.
Ahma blocks a jab.

Ahma is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pilaf's half guard.
Ahma thows a huge punch but Pilaf dodges it nicely.

Ahma winds up and cracks Pilaf with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ahma thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Pilaf to regain full guard.
Pilaf pulls Ahma in close to prevent any damage.
Ahma wants to control from the top but Pilaf keeps moving.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Ahma thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Pilaf to regain full guard.

Ahma drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pilaf looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pilaf looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pilaf!
Pilaf is looking to take a break and control but Ahma is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jussi Ahma dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Pilaf's corner calls for a 1-2. Pilaf obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ahma throws a big shot that misses.
A swing and a miss from Pilaf.

Ahma shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pilaf manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Pilaf is trying to control the position but Ahma postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pilaf keeping moving, preventing Ahma from controlling successfully.
Ahma is looking to work some ground and pound but Pilaf has wrist control.
Ahma throws a strike but Pilaf rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Pilaf prevents Ahma from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pilaf wants to control from the top but Ahma keeps moving.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Ahma wants to stand but Pilaf is controlling the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pilaf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ahma swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ahma connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pilaf's hands.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ahma defending well as Pilaf loads up on a big left hand.
Pilaf keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ahma.

Ahma shoots in and bounces Pilaf off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Pilaf tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ahma chips away with some ground and pound.
Ahma thows a big elbow that misses.
Ahma throws a strike but Pilaf rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jussi Ahma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Ahma swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pilaf missing with a left hand there. Ahma was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Ahma shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pilaf manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ahma loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Ahma is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Ahma with a flurry of punches that miss.

Ahma has gone for a leg lock! Pilaf slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ahma's guard.
Ahma wants to stand but Pilaf is controlling the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ahma can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pilaf controls the pace.
Pilaf trying to control the position from guard on top but Ahma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rice Pilaf has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pilaf tries to free his leg and advance position but Ahma is retaining full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pilaf sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ahma's guard.
Pilaf wants to pass the guard but Ahma is defending well.
Ahma wants to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jussi Ahma.
Well Ahma has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
