Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mel Anglestad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bass Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bass Rutten will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anglestad moves out of range of the strikes.
Rutten misses with a two punch combination.
Rutten shoots in for a takedown but Anglestad shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rutten throws a right and a left that Anglestad avoids nicely.
Anglestad slaps away a takedown attempt from Rutten, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Anglestad rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rutten moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Anglestad is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rutten is just riding it out for now. Anglestad eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rutten walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
