The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgee misses with an uppercut.

Knife drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mcgee wants to get back to his feet but Knife passes into half guard.
Mcgee tries to get to full guard but Knife has control of the leg.

Knife uses his free foot to push down on Mcgee's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mcgee.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Knife is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mcgee is trying to stand back up but Knife is controlling him
Knife wants to take a breather but Mcgee is having none of it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mcgee throws a series of punches but Knife avoids them all with ease.
Mcgee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mcgee takes a swing at Knife's ribcage but misses.
Knife shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcgee sprawls well. Mcgee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Knife gets slowly back to his feet.
