Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ground Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luv Tko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luv Tko!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Tko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pounder lands a really nice looking cross but Tko seems unphased.
Tko throws a right hand that Pounder ducks under and follows up with a left that Pounder also avoids with ease.
Tko takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Pounder tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tko is able to avoid easily.

Pounder shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pounder showed some decent athleticism there.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pounder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tko has a closed guard, preventing Pounder from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pounder will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tko wants to sweep here but Pounder controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tko throws a right and a left that Pounder avoids nicely.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Pounder ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Pounder throws out a loose jab but Tko uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tko is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Ground Pounder dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Tko drops his hands momentarily and Pounder takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pounder here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Pounder throws a jab but it's blocked by Tko.
Luv Tko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pounder changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tko parries the strikes from Pounder easily there. Pounder is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tko to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tko throws a series of punches but Pounder avoids them all with ease.
Pounder is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Pounder misses with a wild combination.
Pounder swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Pounder punishes Tko's body with a nice straight punch.

Tko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pounder throws out the jab.

Pounder scores a takedown into full mount!
Pounder takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tko is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tko prevents Pounder from getting back to his feet.

Pounder is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
