The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Singh swivels and escapes.
Horrible takedown by Alexander or perhaps it was just good defense by Singh which made him look bad.
Alexander fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Singh avoids it really well and circles away.
Balwinder Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Houston Alexander.

Oooh a lovely combination from Singh sends Alexander down but not out. Singh dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Houston Alexander has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alexander tries to bench press Singh off him but Singh keeps the position.
Alexander is not content to let Singh control the position.
Singh has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Alexander!
