Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Al Caholic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Favier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caholic tries to close the distance and clinch but Favier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Favier shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Caholic throws a right and a left that Favier avoids nicely.

Caholic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Favier sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Favier moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Caholic is in close to Favier's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Caholic throws a strike but Favier rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Let's hope that Favier has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Caholic takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Favier is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Caholic throws a left and a right that both miss

and Favier shoots in, scooping Caholic off his feet. Favier is holding his opponent over his shoulder. He slams Caholic to the mat and Caholic is in big trouble! Favier is landing strikes to his unconscious foe and the ref dives in to end the fight! Favier is celebrating with his corner and rightfully so.
