Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saleem Ritte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ritte comes to the cage accompanied by Hell's Bells. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clay Jr misses with a wild body shot.
Ritte misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ritte misses with a double jab.
Saleem Ritte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clay Jr clobbers Ritte with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Saleem Ritte has been cut.
A big left from Clay Jr misses.
Clay Jr stuns Ritte with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ritte throws a nice looking combination but Clay Jr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ritte avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ritte shoots in for a takedown but Clay Jr shows good takedown defense.

and Clay Jr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Clay Jr misses with a straight left.
Clay Jr misses with a low kick as Ritte jumps back.
Clay Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nice sprawl there from Clay Jr as Ritte shoots in.
Ritte fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saleem Ritte. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ritte throws a combination that misses
enabling Clay Jr to counter with a crisp jab.

Clay Jr lands a big uppercut and Ritte crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ritte looks OK. Clay Jr waves Ritte back to his feet!
Ritte is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ritte tries to clinch but Clay Jr moves away
and Clay Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Clay Jr lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Ritte is looking to close the distance but Clay Jr sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Ritte crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Ritte is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
