Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reibs Dibs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Lagove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lagove has chosen little less conversation -Elvis JXL as his entrance music. Sid Lagove has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Reibs Dibs's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Dibs.

Dibs pushes Lagove up against the cage in a clinch.
Lagove is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dibs pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Dibs tries to break free but Lagove pushes him back against the cage.

Lagove gets control of Dibs's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lagove will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dibs wanted to stand there but Lagove had control of the position.
Dibs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lagove on the ground.

Lagove has his foot on Dibs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dibs works his way back into a safe position though.

Lagove escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dibs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dibs decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lagove, up you get!

Dibs has his feet on Lagove's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Dibs paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lagove shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Lagove shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lagove showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dibs is staying active underneath Lagove, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lagove is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dibs is just riding it out for now. Lagove eventually gives up the hold.

Lagove has control of Dibs's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dibs regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Dibs bucks up and throws Lagove to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Dibs lands a nice hook to Lagove's body. Lagove takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lagove drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dibs gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Lagove shoots in but Dibs avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lagove throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lagove goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dibs prevents it.

Dibs's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dibs darts in and clinches Lagove up against the cage.
Lagove has Dibs pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dibs manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dibs drops Lagove with a beautiful combination! Lagove stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dibs is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lagove is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dibs is surviving well by controlling Lagove's body position as best he can.
