Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hass has chosen Boats N Hoes as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy misses with a wild combination.
Kirk Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hass moves out of range as Murphy strikes.

Murphy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Murphy showed some decent athleticism there.
Hass is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Murphy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hass manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Hass is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Murphy defends well.
Murphy is working Hass over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Murphy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hass swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Murphy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Murphy thows a big elbow that misses.

Hass has his foot on Murphy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Murphy works his way back into a safe position though.

Murphy loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hass scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Murphy land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Murphy stands and salutes the crowd.
