Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takashi Mizuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takashi Mizuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Richardson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson cracks Mizuki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Richardson throws a looping overhand right but Mizuki ducks down to avoid it.
Mizuki tries to clinch there but Richardson circles away.
Richardson fails to land with a series of punches.
Good shot there by Richardson.
Richardson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mizuki tries to score with a low kick but Richardson moves his leg out of the way.
Richardson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Richardson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mizuki circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Takashi Mizuki has been cut.

Mizuki is looking to land body kicks.
Richardson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mizuki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mizuki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Mizuki goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Richardson is on top in guard.
Mizuki controls Richardson momentarily but Richardson frees himself.

Richardson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Mizuki thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Mizuki is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Richardson is aware though and is defending well.
Mizuki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Richardson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Richardson gets back to half guard.

Mizuki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mizuki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Richardson defends it well.

Mizuki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Richardson keeps working.
Richardson tries to roll over but Mizuki keeps him under control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Richardson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Mizuki thows a huge punch but Richardson dodges it nicely.
