The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Machida with that takedown attempt.
Machida shoots in looking for a takedown. Pervo tries to sprawl out of it but Machida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pervo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pervo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Machida gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Machida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pervo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
