Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Omar Little (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samson has chosen Ride the Lightning as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Samson thuds a left hand into Little's body.
Samson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Little throws a hook but Samson avoids it easily.
Little throws out a loose jab but Samson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Samson thuds his shin into the meat of Little's side.
Little shoots in but no luck this time.
Little lands a with a good body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Samson connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Omar Little has been cut.
Samson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Samson closes the distance and pushes Little back into the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Little is trying to drag Samson to the mat but Samson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Samson lands a hook that snaps the head of Little backwards.

Samson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Little is looking to escape.
Little might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Samson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Little can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Samson goes for an armbar but Little turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Little.

Little throws and elbow that misses. Samson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Little's guard. Nice move by Samson!

Samson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Little looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Little looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Little!
Samson regains half guard, as Little was trying to land strikes.

Little throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Little throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Samson wants to control but Little is keeping busy.
Little landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Samson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Little is working away from the top position though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Little throws a hook to the side of Samson's head but Samson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Little shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Little was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Little postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Samson out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Little goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
