Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Dodd has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michael Reid's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Reid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Dodd!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid throws a leg kick which misses Dodd's front leg but catches the back leg as Dodd tries to avoid it.
Dodd looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Reid moves into range and clinches up with Dodd.

Dodd is fighting off a takedown attempt but Reid is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dodd to the mat. Dodd regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Reid sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dodd's guard.
Reid seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dodd does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Dodd is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
