Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Williams!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a lazy right hand but Coleman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Williams misses with a double jab.
Coleman lands with an overhand left.
Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Williams shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coleman defends it nicely.
Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Coleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Coleman takes the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Coleman counters with a head kick.

and Coleman counters by moving into the clinch.

Coleman keeps control of Williams as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Coleman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Williams tries a head kick but it misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coleman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Williams stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Coleman tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Williams misses with a knee strike.
Williams tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Williams has had enough of the clinch but Coleman keeps him there for the moment.
Coleman lands a nice elbow.
Williams misses with the head strike.
Coleman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Williams is looking to break free of the clinch but Coleman has double underhooks.
Coleman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Williams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Coleman lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Coleman lands a nice shot to the body.
Coleman gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


The cut above Dave Williams's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Williams throws a knee to the head but misses.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.

Coleman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Williams tries to clinch

and Coleman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Coleman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Coleman misses with a head kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Williams tries to land a knee to the head but Coleman blocks with his arms.
Williams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Coleman walks away with a smile on his face. Williams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Coleman counters with a thumping low kick.

Coleman tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range.

Both fighters circling a little - Coleman finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Dave Williams's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Williams wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Coleman throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
