The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase takes a swing at Alcano's ribcage but misses.
Alcano throws a sloppy head kick and Chase moves out of range easily.
Chase tries to close the distance and clinch but Alcano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice sprawl there from Alcano as Chase shoots in.
No joy there for Alcano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Alcano tries to move into range but Chase moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Alcano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alcano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chase shoots in for a takedown but Alcano shows good takedown defense.
Alcano throws a right and a left that Chase avoids nicely.
Alcano misses with a double jab.
Alcano tries a head kick but it misses.
Alcano throws a head kick that misses.
Alcano moves out of range of the body kick.
Chase fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alcano manages to avoid it.

Chase shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Chase looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
