Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geoff Pulitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Horrigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrigan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Horrigan slips under a jab.
Horrigan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Horrigan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A looping hook to the body misses from Horrigan. Pulitz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrigan misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Pulitz counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Horrigan scores with a hook to the body. Pulitz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Horrigan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Horrigan jabs Pulitz right on the nose. Pulitz blinks but takes it well.
Pulitz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Pulitz takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Horrigan looks to land a combination. Pulitz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pulitz throws a hook but Horrigan avoids it easily.
Horrigan throws a lazy right hand but Pulitz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Horrigan throws a big shot that misses.
Horrigan connects with a single shot there.
Horrigan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Horrigan throws a combination that misses
and Pulitz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Horrigan thows a body shot but no joy.
Horrigan keeps the fight on the outside.
Horrigan throws a looping overhand right but Pulitz ducks down to avoid it.
Horrigan misses with an uppercut.
Jab, jab by Pulitz - just one landing.

Pulitz forces Horrigan back against the cage and clinches.
Horrigan is trying to break the clinch but Pulitz has him pressed against the cage.
Horrigan blocks a body shot from Pulitz.
Pulitz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Horrigan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Pulitz moves into the clinch successfully.
Horrigan is trying to force a seperation but Pulitz has the dominant position.
Pulitz works on Horrigan's body with a couple of short punches.
Horrigan looks gassed!
Pulitz lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Horrigan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pulitz has a couple of punches blocked by Horrigan.
Pulitz blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Pulitz presses Horrigan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Pulitz lands a big right hand that drops Horrigan! The killer instinct kicks in and Pulitz finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Pulitz!
