The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hou takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Mathisen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hou looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hou has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mathisen is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Mathisen stands up from half guard.
Mathisen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mathisen lands a lovely overhand right.
Donk. Mathisen catches Hou right on the button with a cross.
Mathisen stalks Hou and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hou's face. Hou staggers backwards, shaken.

Hou gets caught flat footed, as Mathisen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hou looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mathisen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hou, up you get!
Mathisen misses with a two punch combination.

Mathisen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hou defends it nicely.

Mathisen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hou is looking to improve his position but Mathisen isn't that keen on the idea.

Mathisen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hou has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hou!

Mathisen has his feet on Hou's thighs here. He's pushed Hou off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hou screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
