Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Mozeoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob Mozeoni will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Hare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Mozeoni!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hare gets a takedown into half guard.
Mozeoni looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mozeoni tries to get to full guard but Hare has control of the leg.
Hare tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hare is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hare seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mozeoni for as long as he can get away with.

Hare tries to stand and escape but Mozeoni is controlling the position.

and Hare holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Mozeoni keeps control of Hare as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hare fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mozeoni sprawls well initially but Hare persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jimmy Hare just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

The is referee keeping an eye on Mozeoni - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Hare wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

and Hare counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mozeoni's guard now.
Mozeoni has a closed guard, preventing Hare from standing up.
Hare might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jimmy Hare overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hare stays in close to Mozeoni's body and controls the position.
