The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Ripper throws a quick inside leg kick.
The Ripper tries to land a front kick but Sigvardsson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A head kick misses from The Ripper.
Sigvardsson fails in his attempt to clinch.
The Ripper misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sigvardsson.
The Ripper circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sigvardsson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
The Ripper tries a head kick but it misses.
The Ripper tries to clinch up but Sigvardsson circles away and keeps his distance.
The Ripper throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sigvardsson is positioning himself well to prevent The Ripper advancing to mount.

The Ripper lands a big head kick that sends Sigvardsson tumbling to the mat! The Ripper takes a step backwards and waves Sigvardsson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
