Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Bufford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bengt Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bengt Karlsson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bufford swats away the attempt to clinch by Karlsson.
Karlsson tries a head kick but it misses.
Karlsson throws a nice looking combination but Bufford bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bufford fails with the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Karlsson as Bufford shoots in.
Karlsson looks to land a body kick but Bufford moved away.
Bufford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bufford has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Bufford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bufford shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Karlsson as he jumps to the side.
Karlsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bufford moves away.
Bufford shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Karlsson defends it nicely.
No luck for Bufford with that takedown attempt.
Karlsson throws the kick towards the body but Bufford avoids it.
Karlsson misses with a takedown

and Bufford counters with a nice double leg into side control. Karlsson won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karlsson is looking to regain half guard here but Bufford keeps moving and retains side control.

Bufford working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Karlsson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bufford wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
