Soturi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Insomnium - Down With the Sun. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soturi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Soturi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Soturi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Soturi throwing strikes from guard but Barbari blocks nicely.
Soturi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Soturi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Soturi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barbari swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Soturi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barbari works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Soturi rushes Barbari and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Soturi tightens his grip and picks Barbari up, before dumping him to the ground. Barbari manages to land in guard.

Soturi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Soturi gets to his feet - Barbari follows without any prompting.
No luck for Soturi with that takedown attempt.
Barbari shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Soturi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Barbari's guard now.

Soturi gets to his feet. Barbari looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A low kick from Barbari is predictable there

and Soturi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Soturi.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Soturi has clasped his hands together around Barbari's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Soturi is trying to ground and pound but Barbari uses the momentary lack of control by Soturi to regain half guard.

Soturi is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Barbari is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
