Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick De La Rossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chung lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Rossa comes to the ring accompanied by DJ Khaled - Go Hard. lie has chosen Face Of Meth as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick De La Rossa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, chung lie!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Rossa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. lie defends it nicely.
lie throws a sloppy head kick and De La Rossa moves out of range easily.
De La Rossa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
De La Rossa scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
De La Rossa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt lie.
lie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
lie misses with a head kick.
De La Rossa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

De La Rossa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - De La Rossa lands in his opponent's guard.
De La Rossa working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of lie's head.
De La Rossa distracts lie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
lie throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
lie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

De La Rossa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

De La Rossa postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

De La Rossa chips away with some ground and pound.
lie throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
De La Rossa slips nicely into half guard.
lie flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
De La Rossa is nestled in close to lie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
De La Rossa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
lie tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Nice strikes from De La Rossa there.
De La Rossa works his way into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
lie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
De La Rossa is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. lie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

De La Rossa wants to finish this one by submission but lie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from De La Rossa.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
De La Rossa putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
De La Rossa is breathing heavily.

A nice elbow there by De La Rossa.
lie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De La Rossa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
lie throwing hammer fists to the chest of De La Rossa. What's that going to do exactly?
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
De La Rossa has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of lie's face.

De La Rossa working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. lie looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by De La Rossa! Submission of the night perhaps?
