Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo Elliente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliente is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.

Elliente sends Jones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Elliente is motioning to the referee to let Jones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Elliente sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Elliente misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Elliente bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards.

Elliente sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Elliente throws out the jab.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Elliente might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
