Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Moye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mousasi has chosen ZERO ONNNNNEEEEEEEEE as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Derek Moye has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Derek Moye seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moye steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mousasi.
Mousasi throws a big shot that misses.
Moye staying out of range there.
Mousasi throws a leg kick but Moye sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mousasi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Moye shoots in for a takedown but Mousasi shows good takedown defense.
Gegard Mousasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moye circles away from the clinch attempt.
Moye moves out of range of the body kick from Mousasi.
Moye scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Moye pushes Mousasi up against the cage in a clinch.
Mousasi goes for a takedown attempt but Moye pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

It looks like Derek Moye has been cut.
Mousasi swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Moye.

Moye tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mousasi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Derek Moye will probably get the nod.

Moye bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Moye is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mousasi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mousasi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Mousasi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Moye kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mousasi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mousasi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Moye closes the distance and clinches.

Mousasi dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Moye jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mousasi walks away with a smile on his face. Moye gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Moye bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Moye shoots in but no luck this time.
Moye lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mousasi at a distance.

Moye moves into the clinch successfully.

Moye has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mousasi clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Mousasi trying to control the hands but Moye breaks the grip.
Moye keeps control of the position easily here as Mousasi tries to buck him off.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mousasi is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Moye has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mousasi has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
