Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red wants to clinch.

Martinez clinches up with Red and pushes him back against the cage.
Red is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Martinez can't get the takedown.
Red tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Red wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Martinez has him pressed against the cage.
Martinez throws a knee to the head but misses.
Red displaying some good clinch control by pressing Martinez up against the cage.
Red prevents the takedown attempt.
Red jumps guard but Martinez stands there with Red around his waist. Red gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shane Martinez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damen Red.

Red's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown but Red shows good takedown defense.
Martinez tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Red decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martinez's guard.
Red wants to pass the guard but Martinez is keeping the position.
Martinez throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Red slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Martinez tries to get to full guard but Red has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Red slows the pace down in half guard.
Martinez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Red passes the guard and advances to mount!
Martinez is breathing heavily.
Red controlling his opponent.

Red lands a nice shot to the head.
Red looking to control and managing it successfully.
BOOM! Red connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Red tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Let's hope that Red has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Damen Red just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Martinez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Red counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Red controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Red fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martinez, pushing him back against the cage.

Martinez manages to break the clinch.

Red scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
