Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Junitzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Sparrow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sparrow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Junitzu napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Junitzu is looking for a sweep.

Sparrow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Junitzu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Junitzu can't do much from the bottom here.

Sparrow stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Thiago Junitzu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sparrow closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Junitzu did well to prevent Sparrow getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sparrow drops back looking for a leg! Junitzu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Junitzu manages to kick Sparrow off! Sparrow jumps back into Junitzu's guard.

Junitzu is really struggling to control Sparrow but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Sparrow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Junitzu scores with a push kick.

Sparrow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
