Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Blunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donavon lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Blunderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donavon lara!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunderson tries to clinch there but lara circles away.
Blunderson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from lara.
Blunderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blunderson lands with a hook. lara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

lara feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Blunderson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and lara dives into side control.
Blunderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for lara on the ground.
Blunderson tries to bench press lara off him but lara keeps the position.
lara avoids the strikes from the bottom by Blunderson.
Blunderson tries to buck lara off but lara is having none of it.
lara moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Blunderson tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
lara is hanging on to Blunderson's back as he tries to escape.

lara scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
lara controls the action.
Blunderson is trying to break free.

lara working for a choke but Blunderson is defending well.
lara controlling the position well here. Blunderson rolled but lara kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
lara looks gassed!
Blunderson breaks lara's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blunderson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as lara works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

lara kicks Blunderson off and gets to his feet.
lara circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blunderson tries to clinch up but lara circles away and keeps his distance.
Blunderson fails with the takedown

and lara counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blunderson won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
lara landing strikes.
Blunderson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
lara prevents Blunderson from escaping the position.
Blunderson wants to get back to his feet but lara is dominant here and he's now got Blunderson's back!
I would not like to be Blunderson right now.

lara sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Blunderson taps out!
