Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Ryder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Ryder!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryder feints and as Gomez raises his hands in defense, Ryder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Gomez is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ryder dives into side control.

Ryder looks up at the clock and then as Gomez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ryder smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gomez pushes Ryder away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ryder gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ryder is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gomez's shoulder. That is not cool.
Gomez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ryder asserts his dominance and retains side control.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

The referee asks Ryder politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ryder prefers to stall for the moment though.

Jacob Ryder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ryder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
