Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rory Keenan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keasty Kannegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keenan comes to the cage accompanied by Warriors Code. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kannegaard's choice of entrance music: Ensiferum - Battle Song. Rory Keenan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Keasty Kannegaard's chin.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kannegaard is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
No joy there for Kannegaard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kannegaard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kannegaard gets a clinch.
Kannegaard lands a shot to the body.
Keenan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kannegaard's efforts to push away.
Kannegaard digs a right hand into Keenan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Keenan's gas tank.
Kannegaard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Keasty Kannegaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kannegaard throws a series of strikes that have Keenan backpedaling.

Keenan throws a body punch but Kannegaard moves out of range.
Kannegaard looks to score with a jab to the body but Keenan is just out of range.
A jab-cross combination lands for Kannegaard and sends Keenan crashing to the mat! Kannegaard follows him down to the mat - Keenan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
It looks like Rory Keenan has been cut.

Keenan is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kannegaard wants to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Keenan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kannegaard is working away from the top position though.
Keenan is positioning himself well to prevent Kannegaard advancing to mount.
Keenan moves into full guard.

Keenan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kannegaard manages to get himself to full guard.
Kannegaard wants to stand up but Keenan is controlling him.
Keenan is looking to work some ground and pound but Kannegaard has wrist control.

Keenan trying to control the position from guard on top but Kannegaard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Keenan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Keenan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kannegaard is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kannegaard has escaped and now he's on top!
Kannegaard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Keenan, up you get!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kannegaard cracks Keenan with a right hand to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kannegaard throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kannegaard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Keenan moves away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Keenan.

An elbow from Keenan crashes against the mat.

Kannegaard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Keenan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Keenan lands a decent elbow from side control.

Keenan throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Keenan tries to advance to mount but Kannegaard denies him.
Keenan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kannegaard, who protects the arm well.

Keenan lands an elbow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Keenan is trying to ground and pound but Kannegaard uses the momentary lack of control by Keenan to regain half guard.
Keenan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kannegaard does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Keenan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Kannegaard pushes Keenan off and gets back to his feet.
Kannegaard tries to clinch up.
Kannegaard lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kannegaard tries to bum rush Keenan with a series of wild strikes but Keenan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kannegaard clobbers Keenan with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kannegaard tries to close the distance and clinch but Keenan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kannegaard tries to clinch but Keenan moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kannegaard.
Kannegaard steps into range and cracks Keenan with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Keenan flops backwards and Kannegaard dives into his guard looking to finish!
Keenan is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kannegaard gets to his feet - Keenan follows without any prompting.
Oh Keenan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Keenan switches off momentarily and Kannegaard cracks him with a monster right hand! Keenan topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Kannegaard dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Kannegaard!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keasty Kannegaard!
