Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Polumbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polumbo tries to score with a low kick but Norris moves his leg out of the way.
The fighters circling - Polumbo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Polumbo swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Norris changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Polumbo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Polumbo is looking for a sweep.
The referee asks Norris politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Norris prefers to stall for the moment though.

Polumbo is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Polumbo is looking to improve his position but Norris isn't that keen on the idea.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Norris has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Norris seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Polumbo for as long as he can get away with.
Polumbo swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Norris dives in and grabs Polumbo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Polumbo pushes down on Norris's head and hops out.

Norris takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Norris moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Norris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Polumbo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Norris somewhat.
Polumbo throws a combination. Norris tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Polumbo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Joey Polumbo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Polumbo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Norris takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Polumbo walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Norris drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Polumbo swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Norris's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
