Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gorram Reavers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fox Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Terminator T-800 Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lao keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reavers is defended easily by Lao.

Reavers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lao looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reavers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Reavers is desperately trying to improve his position but Lao has a good base and remains in mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lao has control of Reavers's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reavers regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Reavers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Reavers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lao manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Reavers has Lao in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lao is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Reavers lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lao!
Reavers misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Reavers throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lao has his hands clasped together but Reavers breaks the hold and Lao is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Reavers!
