The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Li but Li pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick misses from Li.
Li throws a head kick that misses.
Hernandez tries to clinch there but Li circles away.
Hernandez walks into a stiff left hand from Li.

It looks like Jose Hernandez has been cut.
Hernandez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Li was well out of range. Poor timing from Hernandez.

Hernandez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Li is trying to defend but Hernandez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Li throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Hernandez shoots in for a double leg but Li sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Li is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Li connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Hernandez to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Li!
