PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ishi Kiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andelko Antun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antun has chosen Your Decision as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ishi Kiki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andelko Antun!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Antun.
Antun takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Antun moves in looking to clinch but Kiki pushes him off.
Antun keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kiki stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Antun clinches.

Antun throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kiki blocks it with crossed arms.
Kiki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Antun smiles and moves away.
Antun lands a high kick!

It looks like Ishi Kiki has been cut.
Kiki shoots in looking for a takedown. Antun tries to sprawl out of it but Kiki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Antun manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Antun uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kiki.
Antun thumps Kiki with a low kick.
Antun ducks right into an uppercut from Kiki.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kiki shoots in and bounces Antun off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Antun pulls Kiki in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Antun manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kiki manages to get himself to full guard.

Antun is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kiki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Antun is looking to defend but Kiki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Antun! Kiki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Antun taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ishi Kiki!
