The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Musashi shoots in for a takedown but Liddell shows good takedown defense.
Liddell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Musashi.
Musashi fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oda Musashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Musashi shoots in but Liddell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Musashi tries for a takedown but Liddell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Liddell thuds his right hand into Musashi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Liddell connects with a nice cross there... Musashi is looking wobbly and Liddell recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Musashi to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Liddell jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
