The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fricke!
Fricke is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cane looking to finish Fricke with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fricke!
Fricke on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fricke tries to get out of the position.
Fricke is desperately trying to improve his position but Cane has a good base and remains in mount.
Fricke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cane is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fricke has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Cane wants to control the pace but Fricke is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cane closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fricke circles away.
Cane shoots for a double leg takedown but Fricke sprawls well. He's pushed Cane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fricke scores with a takedown into Cane's guard.

Fricke tries to stand but Cane is controlling from the bottom.
Fricke makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Cane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fricke is one step ahead there.

Fricke is working Cane over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Cane can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fricke controls the pace.

Fricke is trying to stand up here but Cane is controlling him well.
