The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strike lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Strike is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.
Standan Strike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strike uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Silva has time to react.
Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Strike.
Strike catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Strike is still in real trouble! Can Silva finish him?
Silva loads up on a big left hand. Strike felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Silva looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Strike can't hide his disappointment, as Silva celebrates the victory.
