Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Perunamuusi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perunamuusi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Potaatti. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Dwayne Johnson enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Perunamuusi shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Perunamuusi seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Perunamuusi is keen to just control but Johnson is a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Perunamuusi throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.
Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Frank Perunamuusi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Perunamuusi counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Perunamuusi to acknowledge the strikes.

Perunamuusi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johnson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Perunamuusi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johnson is just riding it out for now. Perunamuusi eventually gives up the hold.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Johnson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Perunamuusi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Johnson has managed to free his arm - good work.
Perunamuusi is trying to control. Johnson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Perunamuusi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson is trying to ground and pound but Perunamuusi uses the momentary lack of control by Johnson to regain half guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Perunamuusi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Perunamuusi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Perunamuusi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dwayne Johnson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Perunamuusi's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Johnson is holding on here and Perunamuusi must be using up a lot of energy. Johnson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Perunamuusi gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
