Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Allen Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and barry bonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bonds has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allen Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, barry bonds!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neal has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Neal.
bonds wants to break free but Neal has control.

Neal has clasped his hands together around bonds's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Neal controlling from side mount.
Neal wants to control but bonds is keeping him busy.
bonds is looking to reverse the position.
bonds looks gassed!

Neal decides to stand back up. Neal steps back and let's bonds get back to his feet.
Neal misses with a two punch combination.

Neal feints and as bonds raises his hands in defense, Neal changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
bonds preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Neal stands and steps away. bonds gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

bonds gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neal working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of bonds's head.

Neal gets to his feet. bonds looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Neal throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neal throws a combination but it was largely blocked by bonds.
bonds on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Neal moves into the clinch successfully.

Neal manages to break the clinch.

Neal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. bonds is trying to defend but Neal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Neal winds up and cracks bonds with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Neal is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for bonds!
bonds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
