Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell's entrance music is The Ultimate Fighter. A fine choice. Alexander Stone has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Stone!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell misses with a kick to the body.
Stone throws a nice head kick!


It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Stone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Liddell looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
Stone scores with a jab to the head.
Stone misses with a head kick.
Stone throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liddell ducks right into an uppercut from Stone.
Stone uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Both fighters circling a little - Stone finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Liddell is breathing heavily.

Stone explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Liddell looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A chopping leg kick lands by Stone.
Stone lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Liddell at a distance.
Liddell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Liddell there as he acknowledges the shot.

Stone lands a big head kick that sends Liddell tumbling to the mat! Stone takes a step backwards and waves Liddell back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Stone forces Liddell back against the ropes and clinches.

Stone jumps guard and drags Liddell to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Liddell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Liddell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stone's guard.

Liddell won't allow Stone to sweep him here.

Liddell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Liddell fails to land with a series of punches.
Liddell thows a left - swing and a miss!

Liddell throws a nice looking combination but Stone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Liddell walks into a stiff left hand from Stone.

Stone lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Stone throws a hook but Liddell blocks it.
Liddell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Stone pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stone avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.

Stone breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Stone cracks the inside of Liddell's front leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Stone counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Liddell on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Liddell has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Stone.
Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stone is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Liddell had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Liddell throws a body punch but Stone moves out of range.
Stone throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Stone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Liddell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stone makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Stone dominated that round.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Nice shot lands for Stone.
Liddell misses with a double jab

and Stone counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stone.

Stone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Stone has Liddell up against the ropes in a clinch.
Liddell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Stone throws a knee to the head but misses.
Stone tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Liddell just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Stone pulls Liddell into guard.
Stone working a defensive guard here.

Stone looking for a guillotine here but Liddell defends easily.

Stone is looking for a triangle here but Liddell uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Stone manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Liddell is trying to stand back up but Stone is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone wants to take a breather but Liddell is having none of it.
Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Stone uses his free foot to push down on Liddell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Liddell.
Stone is stalling here but it's allowed Liddell to get half guard.
Liddell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Liddell tries to get out of the position.
Stone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Stone sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Stone is looking to take a break and control but Liddell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Stone misses with a shot to the body
and Liddell counters with a three punch combo that has Stone backing up. Stone nods at Liddell to acknowledge the strikes.

Liddell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Stone to counter with a crisp jab.
Liddell slips under a jab from Stone.
Liddell keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stone.

Stone fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Liddell checks it well.
Liddell's corner calls for a 1-2. Liddell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A big left from Stone misses.

and Stone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone wants to clinch up but Liddell keeps it at a distance.
Stone goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Liddell throws a shot from downtown. Stone moves away and avoids it.

Stone drops Liddell with a beautiful combination! Liddell stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stone is looking for the KO!


Chuck Liddell's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stone tries to clinch up.
Alexander Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell slips under a jab.
Liddell throws a body kick the misses
and Stone counters with a good low kick that Liddell was not able to check.
Stone thows a leg kick but Liddell checks it
and Liddell counters with a left and a right that stings Stone.
Stone swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Liddell counters with a good low kick that Stone was not able to check.
Liddell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Stone.
Alexander Stone seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jab, jab by Stone - just one landing.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.

Stone breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stone wants to clinch.
The crowd cheers as Stone lands an impressive looking overhand right. Liddell doesn't seem phased though.


Jeez, Chuck Liddell's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Stone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Liddell.
Liddell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stone counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chuck Liddell's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Alexander Stone!
