The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Persson.
Lehnberg looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Persson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lehnberg pinned against the cage. Lehnberg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lehnberg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Altus Lehnberg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Persson.
Lehnberg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Persson fails with the takedown.
Persson shoots in for a double leg but Lehnberg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lehnberg tries to stand but Persson is controlling from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Persson avoids a punch combination nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Persson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lehnberg throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lehnberg throws a head kick that misses.
Persson shoots in but Lehnberg avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lehnberg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Altus Lehnberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Persson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lehnberg counters with an inside leg kick.
Persson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Lehnberg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Persson on the ground.
Persson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lehnberg looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lehnberg tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Persson manages to move to mount!
You get the feeling that Lehnberg really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Persson working for a submission but Lehnberg is keeping him at bay.

Persson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Persson lands a big shot there that rocks Lehnberg but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Persson controlling the position easily from mount.
Lehnberg has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Persson trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Persson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Lehnberg! Can he survive? No! He's out! Persson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
