Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muay Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Link Gatez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Muay Thai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A swing and a miss from Gatez.

Thai gets caught flat footed, as Gatez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Thai is looking to stand up but Gatez isn't so interested in that idea.
Gatez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Thai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatez on the ground.
Thai wants to stand and escape but Gatez is having none of it.
Thai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Thai keeping full guard, as Gatez tries to pass.
Thai will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gatez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Thai is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gatez, into his guard.
Gatez is pulling down on Thai's head. It's preventing any offense from Thai, at least for the moment.
Thai wanted to stand there but Gatez had control of the position.

Gatez pulls Thai in close to prevent any damage.
Thai has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gatez tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gatez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Thai!
Thai wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gatez.
Thai is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Thai is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Gatez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jeez, Muay Thai's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Muay Thai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
