Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen Living in Sin as his entrance music. Riley Quinn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers fails with a takedown attempt.

Powers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Quinn is wriggling around trying to escape.

Powers is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Quinn still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Quinn has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Powers is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Quinn off and has taken his back!

Powers is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Quinn is defending well though. Powers let's go of the attempt for now.

Quinn drops back, looking for a kneebar! Powers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Powers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Powers!

Powers is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Quinn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Quinn manages to work his way to half guard, despite Powers's best efforts.

Powers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Powers is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Quinn is just riding it out for now. Powers eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quinn closes the distance and clinches up with Powers, looking for a takedown. Quinn pushes Powers against the cage but Powers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Powers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quinn.

Powers has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Quinn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Powers yanks on the arm and Quinn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Powers.
