The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Broyles rushes Yamamoto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Nice sprawl there from Broyles as Yamamoto shoots in.
Nice takedown defense from Broyles. No joy for Yamamoto on that attempt.
Broyles lands a jab.

It looks like Yuri Yamamoto has been cut.
Broyles swings for the body but Yamamoto moves out of range.
Broyles stuffs the takedown attempt from Yamamoto. Yamamoto gets slowly back to his feet.
Scott Broyles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Yamamoto.
Broyles scores with a kick to the midsection.

Broyles drops Yamamoto with a beautiful combination! Yamamoto stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Broyles is looking for the KO!

Yamamoto is rocked!
Broyles finds Yamamoto's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Yamamoto flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Broyles lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Yamamoto will be OK.
