The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from De Nascimiento. No joy for Dog on that attempt.
Dog throws a front kick aimed at De Nascimiento's knee but De Nascimiento avoids it well.
De Nascimiento throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jab by De Nascimiento.
Crazy Dog seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dog lands a jab to De Nascimiento's midsection.
Dog misses with a shot to the body
and De Nascimiento counters with a series of strikes. Dog will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dog scores with a takedown into De Nascimiento's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
De Nascimiento utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dog will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A lull in the action here as Dog stalls from top position.

Dog working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Dog is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down De Nascimiento's shoulder. That is not cool.
Dog is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. De Nascimiento looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dog gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. De Nascimiento is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Dog lets go of the hold and De Nascimiento can pop his arm back in it's socket.
