The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Victor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lukens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lukens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Victor but Victor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lukens lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Victor backs up against the cage.
Lukens tries to close the distance and clinch up but Victor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lukens misses with a takedown attempt - Victor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cassiano Victor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Lukens.

and Victor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lukens looks to clinch
and Victor counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Lukens off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Victor follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Lukens was out before he hit the floor.
